COVID-19 Daily School Update: December 2020

    Today, the school district was informed that students at Saunders Trades & Technical High School received a positive COVID-19 test result. 

    Saunders Trades & Technical High School is open for all students and staff on Monday, December 7, 2020.  No further actions are required.  One student is on Track D the other was last in school on November 13, 2020.

    In compliance with contact tracing protocols, the District’s Health Services staff is working with the Westchester County Health Department and all decisions are made following their guidelines and directives.  No further action is required.

    Thomas Cornell Academy is open for all students and staff on Monday, December 7, 2020.  No further actions are required.  The staff member was last in school on November 19, 2020.

    Today, the District’s Health Services staff completed the contact tracing protocols working with the Westchester County Health Department for the staff members with reported positive COVID-19 test results.  All decisions are made following their guidelines and directives.  Parents of students and staff proximate to the staff members were appropriately notified and they were directed to quarantine.

    Riverside High School is open for all students and staff on Monday, December 7, 2020.  The areas where the staff member worked will be sanitized over the weekend.  The student was last in school on November 25, 2020.

    PEARLS Hawthorne School is open for all students and staff.  All of the areas where the staff member spent time have been sanitized following CDC guidelines.

    In compliance with contact tracing protocols, the District’s Health Services staff is working with the Westchester County Health Department and all decisions are made following their guidelines and directives.  Staff members proximate to the positive staff member were appropriately notified and directed to quarantine according to CDC guidance.  No further action is required.

    This evening, a staff member from Casimir Pulaski School informed the District that the staff member had a positive COVID-19 test result. 

    In compliance with contact tracing protocols, the District’s Health Services staff will work with the Westchester County Health Department and all decisions will be made following their guidelines and directives.  Students and staff proximate to the staff members will be appropriately notified and, if necessary, they will be directed to quarantine.

    All students will continue learning using the District’s 100% Online Remote Instruction model.  Tomorrow morning, follow Casimir Pulaski School’s 100% Online Remote Instruction model and ensure your child logs into her/his regularly assigned classes by 8:35 AM.

    DECEMBER 1, 2020

    Today, the District was notified that a staff member at Palisade Preparatory SchoolDàn hợp xướng vua 3D had a positive COVID-19 test results. In compliance with contact tracing protocols, the District’s Health Services staff working with the Westchester County Health Department and following their guidelines and directives, it was determined that based on each of the the individuals’ attendance in school, no further actions are required at this time.
