Yonkers Public Schools Completes COVID-19 Yellow Zone Testing
On Tuesday, December 1, 2020, Yonkers Public Schools completed testing at 14 schools located in the City of Yonkers designated Yellow Zone. School nurses administered COVID-19 Rapid Ag tests to 841 students and staff. Two individuals tested positive.

Yonkers Board of Education Adopts School Reopening Plan

Students will remain at home and teachers will provide online remote instruction from the school buildings.

Preregistration is required, and limited to 40 persons. Until Further notice, BOE meetings held in person will comply with all social distancing requirements and limits on the number of persons at gatherings.

Yonkers Montessori Academy is a wonderful place for students from diverse backgrounds to grow educationally, get involved, and have a meaningful pre-kindergarten through high school experience.The Yonkers Montessori Academy instructional program is rooted in the Montessori philosophy. The curriculum, course offerings, and extra-curricular activities are aligned with New York State Common Core Standards.
